Private Games Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 22, 2026
raisecheckfold.com operates Private Games Provider and Private Games Player (together, “Private Games”). This policy explains how we handle information when you browse games, create an account, host a game, reserve a seat, join a waiting list, or subscribe as a provider.
Android and web free-play versions
The current Android and shared web versions support free-play meetups only. Chips have no cash value, cannot be purchased or redeemed, and do not confer prizes. These versions keep virtual-chip adjustments and balances separately from legacy monetary records. They do not display legacy cash games or monetary ledgers. Native iOS and older versions may retain the legacy records described below.
If you report a game, we save your account identifier, the game and provider identifiers, your reason and review status. The listing is hidden and paused pending review. Provider-block preferences are private to your account and hide that provider’s games for you. Authorized administrators review reports; we may retain the relevant records to investigate abuse. Account deletion removes your personal reports and block preferences.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, name, optional phone number, account identifier, and authentication information. You can edit your name and optional phone number in Settings; your email comes from your sign-in account. Firebase Authentication processes email and password sign-in. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, we receive the account information those services share, such as your name, email address, and sign-in identifier. Apple may provide a private relay email address.
- Android tester signup: if you submit our separate web tester form, we save your Google Play email, optional name, requested apps, adult/contact consent and submission time privately in Firebase. We use this to manage access to the Google Play tester lists and testing communications. Signup does not create an app account or enroll you in Google Play. To remove a tester signup or withdraw contact consent, email contactraisecheckfold@gmail.com from that address. This separate signup is not managed from the app account screen; Google also manages your own Play test opt-in.
- Optional profile avatar: a preset choice or a photo you select. Photos are cropped and resized on your device, with photo metadata removed. Only the processed avatar is saved in your Firebase profile. You can replace or remove it from Settings. Private profile records are readable by the signed-in account owner and authorized backend services; safe avatar copies are also shared with providers you have booked.
- Provider and game information: a required private provider address and optional coordinates obtained when you choose Use current location, alongside provider profile details and the information submitted with a game, including its title, game type, stakes or entry details, date, time, capacity, public area, private venue address, and description.
- Bookings and waiting lists: the games associated with your account, reservation status, queue position, participation status, and related timestamps.
- Private provider management records: private player notes, VIP and block settings, participation records, and manual deposits, withdrawals and balance adjustments. Ledger records may include an amount, currency, optional description, date, player and optional game reference. Provider–player funds balances persist across games and are kept separately by currency. Linked players can view their own read-only funds records; internal provider notes are private. Providers can view participation statistics such as games played and recorded session times. The app records this information but does not hold or transfer money. Historical voided records retain an audit history where applicable. Contact the provider to request corrections.
- Provider subscription records: account-linked purchase identifiers, Apple or Google Play product and transaction identifiers, Google purchase tokens, subscription state and expiry, and verification information. Google purchases use an opaque account binding and server-side verification; tokens remain in server-only records. Apple or Google processes subscription payments; Private Games does not receive your payment-card number.
- Notifications: providers you follow, notification preferences, read status, and notifications about game starts, provider calls, transactions, and provider reservation updates. Player alerts are limited to game starts for their active bookings, calls from providers, and new or changed transaction records. If you enable push notifications, we save a device or browser push token, app type, and language for delivery through Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple Push Notification service. Push messages may show a public game title or a generic transaction-added/updated notice on your lock screen; they do not contain private venue addresses, provider notes, or ledger details. You can disable push and change alert preferences in Settings → Notification settings. The in-app inbox remains available without push permission.
- Service and support information: technical request and error logs generated when operating the service, and information you send when contacting support.
You can browse public game listings without creating an account. Browsing still involves requests to our hosting and backend providers. Venue locations are entered by providers. If you choose “Use my location” in the player app, your device or browser asks for location access. We use that position on your device to filter games by approximate distance; the app does not save or upload your position to our Firebase database. You can choose a city without granting location access.
For nearby search, we store approximate coordinates for the public game area. The provider app sends the public city or area text to the operating system’s geocoding service to locate it. Coordinates are rounded to approximately a kilometre of precision. The private venue address is not used for public distance search. Distance estimates refer to the public area and may differ from the distance to the venue.
Providers can enter their address manually or choose a one-time current-location request. With permission, the device obtains a location and sends coordinates to the operating system’s address lookup service. You can review the resulting address before saving. The saved provider address and optional coordinates are readable only by that provider and authorized backend services, and are not copied into public game listings. Each game has a separate venue address.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, publish and display games, manage reservations and waiting lists, show seat availability, verify provider subscriptions, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and respond to support requests.
What other people can see
Public game listings, including the public area and game details supplied for publication, can be viewed by guests. Do not put a private address or other confidential information in a public title or description.
The private venue address is available to the hosting provider and players with confirmed or seated reservations. Players on a waiting list do not receive it through that reservation. A provider block removes access for confirmed reservations and prevents new joins at that provider’s games; seated players retain access until checkout. Providers can view the booking and participation information needed to manage their games. Booking shares your name, sign-in email, avatar and optional phone number with that provider, including after the booking or game ends. Later profile changes refresh the shared contact details. These contact details are not shared with other players or providers you have never booked. Removing access cannot remove information someone has already seen or copied.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Functions to authenticate accounts, store data, and operate server-side features. Information is processed on Google’s infrastructure. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.
Apple handles App Store subscriptions and Google handles Google Play subscriptions. The stores send transaction and subscription-status information used to verify provider access. Google and Apple also process information when you choose their sign-in services. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
We do not sell personal information or use the current Private Games apps to serve advertising. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with applicable law, protect users and the service, or investigate abuse.
Storage, retention, and security
Account, game, and booking records are stored in Firebase. The current database is hosted in the United States; service providers may process information in other locations. Access controls restrict private records to the accounts and server processes that need them. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
We retain information while it is needed to operate your account and the service. After you confirm account deletion, automatic cleanup removes your authentication account, profile, uploaded images, hosted games, bookings, private notes, push registrations and personal balance records. Other users may retain de-identified bookkeeping amounts without your account identifiers, name, contact information, private notes or game context. A temporary deletion marker containing only your internal account identifier is kept for approximately 24 hours after cleanup to prevent delayed technical events from restoring personal data, then removed automatically. Apple and Google manage their own billing records under their policies. Copies independently exported by other users are outside our direct control.
Your choices and requests
You may browse without signing in and cancel reservations through the app. In the updated iOS and Android apps, open Settings → Delete account, review the consequences, verify your identity and confirm permanent deletion. This applies to the shared account in both apps. You are signed out immediately; automatic cleanup starts within a few minutes and retries automatically if necessary. Apple sign-in users are asked to authorize revocation of the app’s Apple sign-in access. Account deletion does not transfer, settle or refund any money held outside the app; arrange settlement and export records before deleting. You do not need to email us to initiate this in-app process. To request deletion outside the app, follow the email and ownership-verification instructions on our account deletion page. For access, correction, older app versions or problems with deletion, contact contactraisecheckfold@gmail.com. Never send your password or payment-card details.
You can revoke location permission in your device or browser settings and continue using the city filter. You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Android subscribers can manage or cancel in Google Play subscription settings. Requesting account deletion does not itself cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription. Subscription cancellation does not itself delete your Private Games account.
Children
Private Games is intended for adults. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are below the legal age applicable to your participation. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
Policy updates
We will publish changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or your account email.
