• Profile Information: You may voluntarily provide additional information for your profile, such as a 12-digit friend code and a bio.
• User-Generated Content: We collect the content you create within the app, which includes:
  • Mushroom and Postcard Data: Details you log about mushrooms or postcards, including type, size, captions, and photos.
  • Photos: We collect the photos you choose to upload for your mushroom logs and postcards.
  • Location Data (GPS Coordinates): We collect precise GPS coordinates when you log a mushroom, create a postcard, or voluntarily add a location to your user profile.

2. Information Collected Automatically:

• Firebase User ID (UID): We assign a unique identifier to your account to securely manage your data.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Token: If you permit push notifications, we collect a unique token for your device to send you relevant alerts, such as notifications about new mushrooms.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
• To manage your account and provide you with customer support.
• To allow you to participate in interactive features, such as logging mushrooms, posting postcards, and finding friends.
• To display your username and user-generated content to other users as part of the app's social features.
• To send you push notifications, if enabled.
• To display advertisements that help support the development of the app.

Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party services to operate our app. These services may independently collect data and have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

• Google Firebase: We use Firebase for our entire backend, including authentication, database (Firestore), file hosting (Cloud Storage), and push notifications (FCM). Your data is stored on Google's servers. You can view Google's Privacy Policy here.

• Google Sign-In & Sign in with Apple: If you use these services to log in, you are subject to their respective privacy policies. We only use the authentication tokens they provide to securely access your account.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data as long as your account is active. You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can do this directly within the app by navigating to Profile > Settings > Delete My Account. This action is irreversible and will permanently delete all of your personal information and user-generated content, including your profile, mushroom logs, and postcards, from our servers.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access and Correction: You can review and update your profile information at any time through the Settings screen in the app.
• Location Services: You can control the app's access to your device's location services through your device's settings.
• Privacy Settings: You can control whether other users can discover you via the "Allow others to find me" toggle in the app's Settings.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
